Dr. Wallis' ongoing training includes the completion of at least 50 educational credit hours every 2 years, the highest requirement in the country.

As Director of Governmental Relations for the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians Dr. Wallis
represents the interests of organized optometry in
New Jersey and the patients they serve. He has given
testimony before many legislative committees at the
State House in Trenton regarding eyecare legislation
important to New Jersey consumers.

Dr. Wallis is married to Dr. Greta Steinbach-Wallis,
also an Optometric Physician. They have one son, Jeff,
a First Year Oral Surgery Resident at Jefferson University Hospital.
